What happens when I close a date-based course?

When a date-based course is closed, a number of workflows will be triggered and effects will take place:

  1. Grades and attendance will be finalized. Edits will not be possible unless the course is re-opened.

  2. Students' GPAs will be re-calculated (as a reminder only closed courses affect a student's GPA).

  3. Students' SAP statuses will be re-calculated (unless the SAP status for a student has been manually overridden).

  4. The course will be visible on the student's Transcript.
